Vinyasa Yoga Charlotte NC
I was introduced to yoga in 2005 when I skeptically agreed to attend a yoga class with my dad. I wasn't sold at first, but something kept bringing me back to the mat. Yoga brought me back "home" connecting my body and spirit, which gave me the sense of freedom I was searching for at that time in my life. After graduating from Auburn University and moving to Charlotte in 2008, I found Yoga One where my practice tremendously grew. Wanting to deepen my yoga journey and share the healing yoga brought to me, I attended the Yoga Of Thriving 200 Hour Teacher Training at Yoga One during the summer of 2009. I am deeply grateful for having the opportunity to participate in Yoga One's teacher training and feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.

Having a passion for being with children, I also attended a Kid's Yoga Teacher Training under Stephanie Keach and Jane Anne Tager at the Asheville Yoga Center in July 2009. What I love most about children is how they express themselves freely and are proud of who they are. Kid's yoga provides a way for children to use their creativity and encourages them to continue to be authentic. My intentions for each class is to provide the children with healthy ways to explore and cope with emotions, develope a healthy mind body connection, and increase self esteem while most importantly having fun!

I look forward to having fun and sharing the yoga experience wit you and your kids! Yoga continues to teach me to live without expectations and to be grateful for each breath I'm given. Each breath is just another step towards growth.
