Susie Farnick : Certified Prenatal/Postnatal Instructor YogaOne Wellness
Susie is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Communications. She began practicing yoga in 2002 under a Bikram instructor and after a year of training ventured on to various styles of yoga. She was most inspired by the power vinyasa style and received her certification in 2004 from Stephanie Keach at the Asheville Yoga Center. Not long after her teaching started, she realized that she wanted to pursue her Prenatal Certification with Stephanie as well. She has been leading workshops and classes at various studios including Destination Maternity for over two years and currently teaches her prenatal workshops and classes at Belly Elan and YogaOne. For Susie, prenatal classes represent what yoga is about: union. She inspires women to embrace their pregnancies through love, light and humor. She offers tools and techniques that have been proven to alleviate common discomforts associated with pregnancy.
Susie is currently enrolled at the Teacher Training Program at YogaOne under the guidance of Johnna Smith and has also completed Level One Training with Baron Baptiste. She looks forward to meeting you and guiding you through your journey into the miracle of life.
